Yes, it’s me. Again.

Since you’re here, you probably already know something about me. (Is that a Zen riddle or what?) Yeah, I’m still that guy.

But if you don’t know me….well, I’m a long-time blogger, most recently here, and I finally broke down and purchased my own little homestead here on the web. I’m planning to build a two-bedroom, ultra-modern cottage. Think steel and concrete, ok? For balance, though, I might need to build a little stream to run through the living room. Whatever the place ends up looking like, I’m pretty sure there’ll be some good Belgian brews in the fridge….

“Rivers are damp,” as you may know, is a line in a perceptive poem by Dorothy Parker. In fact, “Résumé” is probably my very favorite poem. It’s fitting, I suppose, to start the new blog off there:

Résumé

Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.

Guns aren’t lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.

Those are some words I live by….
